Meet the Founder
Cody Shoemaker, Founder of HZR Financial Partners, brings over a decade of financial and credit expertise to every engagement. Before launching HZR, Cody spent 11 years with a publicly traded Fortune 500 company, specializing in credit analysis, risk management, and financial review.
He has analyzed hundreds of financial statements across a diverse range of industries and company sizes — from small local businesses to early-stage startups, private equity–backed firms, and large publicly traded corporations.
Cody’s experience includes managing a portfolio of 290+ customers with over $1.4 billion in exposure, giving him an in-depth understanding of financial performance, creditworthiness, and business sustainability. In addition to his portfolio, he played a critical role as the lead analyst, identifying risk trends and growth opportunities within the organization’s $2 billion+ accounts receivable portfolio.
